Hi friends, Today we will teach you that how you can download TASM Assembly compiler and install it on your pc to write your assembly projects and lab works. This step by step TASM installation guide works for Windows XP and Windows 7 enabled computers, simply follow all instructions. 1) Download TASM from here. (Size : 5.61 MB)

You will get it in .rar file, just unpack(extract) it and follow the steps below.
2) After extracting rar file there will be one folder created named "tasm5" Navigate to this folder "tasm5\DISK1" find and run INSTALL application file.
It will present one window same as below.
3) Press Enter key to continue installation and now next screen is asking the drive name where you recently downloaded source files.(see screenshot)
4) On next step it will ask path for source files just you had downloaded it recently.
It selects file path automatically, so no need to do anything here. just hit "Enter" key and process to next step.
5) Now look at screenshot of next step, then i will explain what details it consist of.
Ok, in this step you can change default installation directory for "tasm" assembler files.
by default value it have : C:\TASM
Everything is okey, Press F9 Key to start installation.
Sometimes, one screen will appear on your pc as below.
Kindly Press okey and go ahead.
and you've installed TASM successfully into your system, It will open readme files in one DOS prompt after successful installation, to avoid it, press Esc key when it appears.

thanks alot for the instructions :) was very useful! i have successfully downloaded TASM but when i try to open the tasmx file it just opens and closes within a fraction of a second. what do i do?
"this version of this file is not compatible with the windows version you are running"
using x64 windows 7, help!
